Permission to paint for pleasure
Permission to leave the lights on
Permission to wake before the sunrise
Permission to drink two coffees in one day
Permission to go sledding instead of school
Permission to let the laundry wait in the washer
Permission to sit inside and read on a sunny day
Permission to take the day off from commitments
Permission to write when there’s no income generated
Permission to say no and then yes and maybe no again
Permission to have an egg for breakfast when I’m vegan
Permission to sit awhile longer at the breakfast table reading
