"In the Quiet Moments" Series

By the time our children leave our home we don’t want them to wonder if their lives matter, we want them to know that they do.

Hello!

I'm thrilled to introduce "In the Quiet Moments," a new series focusing on the subtle yet impactful moments in parenting and raising children. It's about embracing the silent, often overlooked instances that shape our lives and our children's.

This series emerged from realizing the challenges and beauty in parenting, like answering tough questions from our kids or finding the right words in everyday situations. For example, when my eight-year-old son asked an unexpected question, “what if a person has a baby when they aren’t married?'“ it highlighted the importance of nurturing open dialogue with our children.

The idea for "In the Quiet Moments" came while doing the mundane task of laundry, reminding me of the value in my role as a parent, often unrecognized by society.

This monthly series isn't a step-by-step guide but a gentle exploration of parenting, shared over a cup of tea, if you will. We'll cover teaching responsibility through small tasks, setting goals that celebrate each step, fostering emotional perspective and growth mindset, and learning from mistakes.

These posts aim to be light yet insightful, reflecting the simplicity and depth of quiet parenting moments. They're for anyone invested in the journey of nurturing young lives.

Join me monthly with your favorite warm drink in a cozy spot, as we cherish these moments and discover the heart of parenting together.

Best,

Lauren
